Shipping and Delivery Policy
Assisted Health and Mobility
Last updated: 27 October 2026
At Assisted Health and Mobility, we take particular care when delivering specialist mobility equipment.
Our delivery arrangements are designed to provide safe and reliable transportation while accommodating the size and nature of our products.
1. Estimated delivery times
For in-stock products, we aim to deliver within 3–5 working days of accepting your order.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
Actual delivery arrangements depend on stock availability, delivery location, transport schedules and any additional services requested.
If delivery is expected to take longer, we will contact you and provide an updated estimate.
Your statutory rights relating to delayed delivery remain unaffected.
2. Deliveries within England
Where our delivery routes permit, we offer a carefully managed white-glove delivery service using our own company vehicles and personnel.
We will normally contact you to arrange a suitable delivery appointment.
Our service is intended to provide careful transportation and a coordinated handover of specialist equipment.
White-glove delivery does not automatically include installation, assembly, demonstration or removal of existing equipment unless these services have been purchased or expressly agreed.
In areas not covered by our own delivery routes, we may offer a suitable third-party delivery alternative.
3. Deliveries to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
Deliveries outside England will normally be undertaken using suitable third-party carriers.
Delivery availability, charges and estimated times may vary by postcode and the size and weight of the product.
Where additional arrangements are necessary, we will confirm the available options and obtain your agreement before accepting any additional charges.
We cannot currently guarantee next-day delivery.
4. Delivery charges
Applicable delivery charges will be displayed during checkout or otherwise clearly agreed before an order is accepted.
Where special transportation is required, we will explain the additional charge before proceeding.
We will not apply undisclosed delivery charges after an order has been completed.
5. Delivery appointments
For deliveries undertaken using our own vehicles, we will endeavour to contact you before delivery to arrange an appropriate date.
Please ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the goods.
If an agreed delivery appointment is missed and an additional journey is required, we may offer redelivery for a reasonable charge, subject to prior disclosure, agreement and applicable consumer law.
6. Delivery handover
Please inspect the external condition of your delivery when it arrives, where practical.
If you notice packaging damage or suspect that an item has been damaged during transport, please contact us promptly.
Photographs of the packaging and product may help us resolve the issue.
Not reporting damage immediately does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
7. Risk during delivery
We remain responsible for loss or damage to goods during transportation until they are received by you or a person you have identified to receive them, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Where we arrange a third-party carrier, the use of that carrier does not remove our statutory delivery responsibilities.
8. Delivery delays
Although we aim to deliver within 3–5 working days, unexpected circumstances may occasionally cause delays.
If there is a significant delay, we will contact you and explain the options available.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods must normally be delivered within the statutory 30-day period.
Where delivery is not completed as required, your applicable rights to request delivery, cancel or receive a refund remain unaffected.
9. Supply-only products
Products purchased on a supply-only basis are delivered without installation unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Customers should ensure that products are suitable for their intended use and installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and relevant safety requirements.
10. Installation services
Where professional installation is purchased, a separate appointment may be required.
The installation date, scope of work and any additional requirements will be agreed with you.
Installation availability depends on location, scheduling and product suitability.
11. Returns and collections
Our Return and Refund Policy explains how to return eligible goods.
Within England, an optional collection service may be available, normally costing £150 for a non-faulty change-of-mind return.
Outside England, customers will normally need to arrange suitable return transportation for non-faulty change-of-mind returns.
Where goods cannot normally be returned by post, the required return-cost information or reasonable estimate will be provided before purchase.
Return costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods will be handled in accordance with statutory consumer rights.
